Cabinet Refacing can take up to one week, or even longer, whereas replacing your cabinets takes only one - two days.

This is the process most companies use when they reface your cabinets:
1) Empty Cabinets completely
2) Remove Cabinet doors and drawers
3) The cabinet doors and drawers are taken off-site to another location where they are 'refaced'
4) Another day goes by while the other part of your cabinets are 'refaced'
5) A few days later, the doors and drawers are brought back
6) 6 - 8 months go by, and your 'refaced' cabinet color will begin to fade and settle in
7) And the last step, you will have paid more to have your cabinets refaced than you would have paid to have them replaced!

Replacing your cabinets will take 1 - 2 days, depending on the size of your kitchen. And yes, that INCLUDES the removal of your old cabinets.
