Giallo Ornamental Granite Countertops are a light granite color that can best be described as a yellow-beige granite color with a bit of specks of black and gray. Giallo Ornamental comes from a bedrock quarry located in the northern part of Espirito Santo, Brazil. It is one of the larger quarries, producing more than one hundred truckloads per month.
Giallo Ornamental granite is used in many residental homes, commercial business and locations worldwide because of its unique and understated refined and calming character. When this granite is combined with yellow hues in a small kitchen it will brighten and produce a playful environment. For a more sophisticated look, you would want your wall colors to be a beige color with hues of yellow to accent the stone’s elegance. When you are looking for an earthier and romantic look, you would want to move toward cream colors. As with all custom work you can add accents to the granite stone with backsplash art that has some red and natural earth colors to highlight the different colors in the stone. For a more modern or contemporary look, move from the browns to the colors with hues of gray.
The stone is similar to Giallo Veneziano, New Venetian Gold, Santa Cecilia and Giallo Imperial from Brazil. Giallo Ornamental works with all cabinet styles and combination because of its subdued elegance and relaxing natural character. The gold, beige-ivory with its gentle browns work well with rich dark walnuts and natural cherry wood cabinets and will bring out the wonderful grains and natural patterns in the woods. This combination is particularly warm and inviting when used with under cabinet lighting that reflects off the polished granite surfaces.
